Tone is a vocabulary problem

"Make it less AI" is the most personal failure mode on the site, because tone is the layer that breaks first when context is thin.

The model has a default voice. Your brand has a different voice. Bridging them takes either a long prescriptive prompt every time, or a short reference to a canonical voice document the model has already absorbed.

The infrastructure version: a voice.md in /references, examples of past edits, a short list of banned constructions. Then "less AI" works.
